The Children's Museum of Indianapolis
One of the best children's museums in the country. If you go, plan to spend the entire day!

President Benjamin Harrison Home
Home of Benjamin Harrison, the 23rd President of the United States
Soldiers and Sailors Monument
The best known monument in Indianapolis, the Soldiers and Sailors Monument was completed in 1902 and commemorates the sacrifices made by the common soldier and sailor in all wars. At 284 feet 6 inches in height, it is only 15 feet shorter than the Statue of Liberty. Visitors can ride an elevator to to the top for views of Monument Circle and downtown Indianapolis

Parks and Zoos
Eagle Creek Park
With 1,400 acres of water and 3,900 acress of land, Eagle Creek Park is one of the largest municipal parks in the country
Fort Harrison State Park
1,700 acre park located on the former grounds of the Army's Fort Benjamin Harrison
Indianapolis Zoo and White River Gardens
The zoo is reknowned for accomplishing the world’s first successful artificial insemination of an African elephant. Animals on display include kodiak and polar bears, walrus, penguins, elephants, giraffes and many others. The White River Gardens, adjacent to the zoo, is a botanical garden which encompasses several themed outdoor landscaped gardens as well as an indoor conservatory
White River State Park
White River State Park is located near downtown Indianapolis on the White River. The park is home to the Indianapolis Zoo, White River Gardens, Indiana State Museum, IMAX® Theater, Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art, NCAA Hall of Champions, Victory Field and Congressional Medal of Honor Memorial
