ISC Lightning Burl Harmon Indiana Open Regatta Results Posted

With apologies for the delay, the results of the 2007 ISC Lightning Burl Harmon Indiana Open Regatta are now posted to the Regatta Results page.

Open House on Sunday

ISC will be hosting an Open House this Sunday, June 23rd, from 1PM to 5PM. Everyone is invited to come out and visit the club, see our facilities, meet some of the members and even take a sail on one of our boats if you would like (skippered by an experienced ISC sailor, of course!). If you have ever thought about learning to sail or are new in town and looking for the best sailing in Indianapolis, you need to be at the Open House!

Zeebo Grill Now Open At ISC Clubhouse

The Zeebo Grill is now open on Sundays from 5-8PM (food) and 5-9PM (beverages) and on Wednesdays from 5:30-8:30PM (food) and 5:30-10:30PM (beverages). The service is being provided by EDDY'S. Everyone is encouraged to come out and support continuing food service at the ISC clubhouse on Wednesdays and Sundays!

ISC Team Competes in Leukemia Cup 24 Hour Endurance Race


The ISC juniors team headed by Cameron Borkowski competed in the Leukemia Cup's 24 Hour Endurance Race at Leatherlips Yacht Club in Shawnee Hills, OH. The "Cross State Young Yachting Guild & Benevolent Society" Team completed the entire 24 hour race without crew substitution and earned itself the Endurance Award. The ISC team finished 8th overall of 16 teams competing in helped raise more than $13,000.

Emirates Team New Zealand Wins Louis Vuitton Cup


Emirates Team New Zealand has won the Louis Vuitton Cup to claim the right to challenge the Swiss Alinghi team for the America's Cup. The New Zealand team defeated the Italian Luna Rossa Challenge team in convincing fashion, 5-0, marking the first time the challenger finals has been swept.

After winning the Louis Vuitton Cup, Emirates Team New Zealand skipper Dean Barker said:

"I don't think anyone on the team ever dreamed or believed that we would get through the Louis Vuitton Cup Final against a team like Luna Rossa in the way we did. We have managed to step up a level for the Final. The challenge is now to stay focussed and take another step going into the America's Cup."

Emirates Team New Zealand will face Alinghi in the America's Cup starting June 23rd.

Week 4 of ISC Sailing Camp Now Full

Week 4 (July 9-13) is now full. Week 5 (July 23-27) filled up several weeks ago. Remaining spots will be going quickly so get your application in now to reserve your spot in ISC's Sailing Camp!
