| Indianapolis Star Article on ISC Sailing Camp/Junior Training |
|
The Indianapolis Star has published an article on ISC's Junior
Training/Sailing Camp program. Program co-director, Scott Hicks, says of his involvement:
"I enjoy it tremendously. I've been sailing for 25 years,
and there's a lot of satisfaction in watching young people
learn how to sail. Our main objective is to expose people to
sailing and to the club and to have fun."
Scott's work on organizing the camp and training the counselors means
the kids have a great time while learning the basics of sailing in a safe
environment. Kyle Montrose, 11, says:
"On a really windy day, it's really fun. You get speed and
the wake."
while Jimmy Martin, 12, says:
"I like the water and swimming, so I thought it'd be fun.
I like it when we're going real fast and almost tip over."
For more information, see the Sailing Camp/Junior Training program page.

Come spend an afternoon at ISC and learn how to better trim and balance with Skip Dieball

After sailing, Part 3 will be held in the ISC Clubhouse, where we can review the
afternoon's video with Skip's commentary, not to mention some pizza and cold beverages.
The seminar will be held June 30th from 2pm to 8pm at ISC. If you plan to attend or
