You can now search the ISC website using the search tool in the left-hand navigation column. Simply enter the word(s) you are searching for and whether you want results that contain all of the words you have entered (Match ALL) or any one of the words you have entered (Match ANY).

The 2004 ISC Junior Training Camp application is now posted to the Junior Training page. Historically, the ISC Junior Training program has been very popular with all sessions normally being filled. This year we have added an additional session for a total of six to better accomodate the demand.

If you are reading this, the ISC website was served to you via our new "virtual private server" provided by FluidHosting. The change to "virtual private server" hosting versus "shared" hosting allows me to install any software I want instead of being limited to the software provided as part of the "shared" hosting package. As you might suspect, I plan to make use of this ability to install any software package in the future.

The tentative 2004 ISC Regatta schedule is now posted on the Race & Regatta page.

The NOR (notice of race) for the ISC Spring Laser Regatta (April 17-18) is now posted on the Race & Regatta page. This regatta usually attracts 30+ boats from around Indiana and the adjoining states. In addition, spring winds on Geist are usually quite good. If you're a Laser sailor in Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan or elsewhere (and like to travel!), Laser Fleet #24 hopes to see you at the Spring Laser Regatta!

Augie Diaz and Hannah Swett have been named the 2003 Rolex Yachtsman and Yachtswoman of the Year. Diaz won the 2003 Snipe World Champoinship (the first time since 1981 that an American has won this event) and Swett won the 2003 Yngling World Championships (the Yngling will debut as the women's keelboat class at the 2004 Olympics in Athens).

A new color topographic map of Geist Reservoir including the numbered areas used for setting ISC race courses is now available on the Race & Regatta Schedule page (scroll down below the race and regatta schedule table). Visiting sailors participating in ISC regattas might find it useful to download and print a copy of this map or the black & white version for use while racing (I have a laminated copy in my spinnaker turtles for reference; most office supply superstores will laminate a standard letter size sheet of paper for around $1).
