ISC Fourth of July Regatta

The ISC Fourth of July Regatta will be June 28-29. The regatta dinner will be at 6:30pm on Saturday night and will be hosted by the Snipe Fleet. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children under 10. The menu is BBQ chicken, green beans, roasted potatoes, salad, rolls, brownies and ice cream.

There will be a DJ for entertainment after the dinner. Trophy presentation will be after the racing on Sunday with a cookout to follow, so plan to stay around a while and socialize with other club members.

To make reservations contact Tom Townsend at (XXX) XXX-XXXX or (email address removed). Please note that this is an ISC member's only regatta.

ISC to host Y-Flyer Nationals

The American Y-Flyer Yacht Racing Association will hold their 2003 Championship Regatta at Geist Reservoir on June 23-27 at the Indianapolis Sailing Club. Over 40 sailboats by sailors from Kansas, Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia, Texas, and Massachusetts are expected to travel to Indianapolis for a week of sailing and camaraderie. Junior sailors, not yet 19, will compete in four races on Monday and Tuesday. Senior sailors will compete in six races on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Prior to the sailing competition, all sailboats will be weighed and all sails will be measured to ensure that no skipper has an advantage over others. The racing will be a statement of skill, not a demonstration of equipment. The National Regatta will end with the awards banquet Friday evening at the Castleton Omni hotel. Many of the travelers will be camping all week at the Indianapolis Sailing Club. Others will stay at area motels.

Further information is available on the Y-Flyer Class website or by calling Paul and Kay White, the Regatta Chairman, at (XXX) XXX-XXXX.

Please notify the webmaster of any problems you have accessing the ISC website.

Website Redesign

Welcome to the redesigned ISC website! The website has been completely redesigned to enhance navigation, content, appearance and ease of maintenance. The new design is only a starting point in an ongoing effort to present a better experience to visitors of the ISC website. I will be updating the website sporadically to implement additional features, some of which will be noticeable when you visit the site and others which will be "behind the scenes" improvements.

Please contact the webmaster with any suggestions for improving the site and/or problems you may encounter.
