With only one additional race held since Day 2, the Nationals are
complete. The competition in the Championship Fleet was particularly
stiff as the top 3 places were separated by only 1 point! First and
Second were decided by a tie-breaker. Congratulations to the top three
finishers in the Championship Fleet:
- 1340 -- Savage, Scott / Rick Savage
- 757 -- Boucher, Timothy / Dennis Butts, Tim Butts
- 1382 -- Boissoneault, Hank / Kelly Boissoneault
The Challenger Fleet also saw some good racing with Third place decided by
a tie-breaker:
- 1393 -- Graf, Dan / Marlene Graf
- 1307 -- Nagle, John / Greg Johnson
- 1310 -- Ross, Steve / Jonathon Ross

Two races were held in light and variable winds. George Fisher has jumped
into 1st place after scoring a 5th and a 1st in the days races. Boissoneault and
Boucher retain 2nd and 3rd after solid top 10 finishes. Current standings in the
Championship Fleet are:
- 1174 -- Fisher
- 1382 -- Boissoneault
- 757 -- Boucher
and in the Challenger Fleet:
- 1307 -- Nagle
- 1393 -- Graf
- 1322 -- Smyk

Today, Thursday July 28, was marked by light winds in the morning, so no races were
held. There was one race in variable winds in the afternoon. After one race, the top three
in the Championship Fleet are:
- 1382 -- Boissoneault
- 757 -- Boucher
- 384 -- Ward
and in the Challenger Fleet:
- 1307 -- Nagle
- 1322 -- Smyk
- 1310 -- Ross
Finally, the Juniors and Ladies had their own series on Wednesday, in relatively cool and
windy conditions. The Junior Championship was won by Seth Parker and the Ladies Championship
was won by Ann Taylor.
